When I use 'Manage Bookmarks' and the Library to delete bookmarks and bookmark folders in addition to cleaning up duplicate bookmarks, the deleted folders and bookmarks automatically reappear in my Bookmark sidebar 1-2 hours later.

Initially, I had sync on but did not have Bookmarks checked for syncing. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared. Then I turned off sync for this browser / machine. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared.

I tried to see if there was a setting that enabled automatic restores of bookmark backups - but could not find one to turn off. I have tried refreshing the installation and starting again - using a one-time sync from another machine - but continue to be unable to permanently delete old / obsolete / duplicate bookmarks and folders.

I've also tried 2 Bookmark clean-up extensions. While I am able to delete duplicates and empty folders using these tools, 1-2 hours later they are back in the Bookmark sidebar.

Is there anyway to prevent the automatic restoration of the Bookmark Library?

There are login pages that have saved usernames I want to clear but am unable to. I have gone to settings. Under passwords I have everything unchecked. I have examined "Saved passwords" and it is showing "No passwords saved". I have tried with all of the Passwords options checked and unchecked but I all ways see"No passwords saved". Please help.

Firefox is my primary browser. I get this Network protocol error message so often now that I am considering using another web browser. See below It happens with sites I routinely use. I have tried several of the solutions from Firefox and also searched other solutions online to no avail. I like the Firefox web browser. Can you provide me some other solutions

I am curious as to why Mozilla/Firefox doesn't seem interested in matching Chrome for addons for popular dropshipping apps such as CJDropshipping, DSers and AutoDS. These are well catered for in Chrome and allow easy import of products into stores such as Shopify. They save a lot of time for already busy store owners and staff yet Firefox loyalists are forced to switch over and use Chrome to make life easier and save time. For someone who has been using Firefox across both Linux and Windows since it's 2004 launch, it is galling and almost physically debillitating to have to resort to this each time. If I were any good at coding I would surely fix this serious shortcomming.

Please Mozilla look to this and provide us with better options.

The subtitles aren't appearing in the PiP pop out when the original video is Disney+, but they're working on Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. Is there a way to fix this? I looked around in the settings and couldn't find anything.

When I try and get a web page for example wordle or facebook I get following message 'There was an error displaying the search results. Please try again.' I have windows 11 on a laptop and am using duckduckgo as search engine. It has only started today and on Edge using same search engine I do not have the problem

I have restarted and updated both firefox and my computer and disabled all of my security extensions for Canvas. However I still do not have any content loading for assignments or quizzes.

I have display problems with Beta 127 (b4) on a Windows ARM PC (Adreno 685 GPU). FF itself and websites. Version 126 and later runs fine. These errors do not occur when hardware acceleration is switched off!

As of today 5/20/2024 Firefox stopped saving bookmarks. The star turns blue to indicate the bookmark was saved, but when I check the folder in Bookmarks it's not there.

Prior to about a month ago, downloading worked as expected: - click a link - the save to... dialog opened - choose the folder - the download is off and running

No more. For about the past month - click a link - wait for a long time with FF frozen - the a wheel starts rotating - after a full minute (or more) the save dialog appears.

Something has been broken in the mad-dash to push updates. It's fine for browsing, but the, you need to download. At that point you wish you were using a different browser (any other browser, in fact) since FF is the only oe that has this problem. Downloading works fine in a 8 chromium browsers that I have and in the 5 FF clones (like Waterfox)

It's just FF that's broken. I can no longer afford to set it as default because of this. The others are not perfect (WF won't activate Pocket, foe example) but downloading promptly is critical.

Why is the text in tab names, address bar and menu boxes so small? I did the changes to about:config and the other one that comes up when I googled this question but, while they enlarge the text in those places, they make the page content too big.
