James here. I CAN NOT find the Firefox application file location. There is no option to show file path upon right click of the desktop icon and I can not locate it in File Explorer. I have done an entire (C:) drive search and turned up nothing. C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox does not exist in my file system. I am at a loss here and it's driving me bonkers!

When logging into a Wordpress site on Firefox, hovering over Username displays a gear (see first screenshot) which when clicked on exposes passwords and allows them to be edited (see second screenshot). This does not happen on other browsers. I'm on Firefox 126.0, MacOS Big Sur 11.7.10

Hi, I am trying to access a website, and I keep getting 'Secure Connection Failed', with the error codes: ' PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR', or 'SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG'. This only happens in 'Firefox', 'Microsoft Edge' and 'Google Chrome' load without any issues. I have the same problem on PC and Android. I have tried everything that I could from the information I received on the internet and here in the help forums, from disabling proxy, firewalls, on the browser and on my PC. I have added exceptions to HTTPS, disabled 'Enhanced Tracking Protection'. Nothing seems to work. If you could help me this would be greatly appreciated, as Mozilla Firefox is my trusted browser. Hi, it seems that my Firefox browser does not want to save a new payment method. I'm trying to access "Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Autofill" and then click on "Saved payment methods", which opens a dialog with the existing payment methods and options to remove/add/edit. I'm clicking on Add, filling-in the card details and then clicking Save, nothing happens....

I previously had a working saved payment method, but it stopped working (I think more than 6 months ago). I tried to re-enable the credit cards by setting the following configs on about:config page:

- extensions.formautofill.creditCards.available: true
- extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries: '...,RO' -> (I was adding my country to the existing list)

After the browser restart with those new settings when I'm on a payment page, clicking on a credit card field will show the saved credit card but if I click on it, it will not fill the details. And also trying to save a new card, manually as described previously in this message, or by the automatically prompt to save a new card after a successful payment was done. Both methods failed on me but with no error (I cannot see the saved payment on the list).

I tried removing the existing saved card, it worked removing it, but the add is still not working.

I also tried restarting in save mode, launching Firefox in a separate profile and added my country on the creditCards config for supportedCountries to show the "Saved payment methods" button on new profile, and it did not change anything.

I'm thinking there is a missing permission somewhere on the disk but I don't know where is the payment data stored on disk.

I would really appreciate any help on this.

PS: Check the attached pic to see the payment add and clicking the save button does nothing (also there are no validation errors). And the other: FF version, OS, troubleshooting info.

Need some help. I can't download any files using Firefox. It always says, "Failed".

I tried other browsers, and I'm able to download just fine.

I already tried this guide, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-download-or-save-files, but still same.

I haven't tried to re-install Firefox because I have a bunch of workbook marks that might get lost. So, I want the re-install option as a last resort.

When I open a locally downloaded pdf in firefox, the background is displayed as what was previously displayed on that portion of the screen, and scrolling simply overlays moved text over what was previously displayed. Does not appear in screenshots. One of the images shows what the pdf looks like prior to scrolling, and one after.

Shoot!! I just filled this out, and somehow, it reverted me back to This screen again!! I am not a programmer or IT Guy. What I am is a person that is Very alert to sudden changes in my experiences. I retired 14 years ago, as a Manager in a Manufacturing industry. Very familiar using desktop. For some reason, about a couple weeks ago, some of my sites have begun using google adds, over and over. When I click on the "X", wants to know why, etc. I use Malware Bytes, scans every day. Does NOT discover any malware, but I KNOW something has changed to allow the bombardment! Is it possible it's just a single site that I had to change and log in to? Even if so, WHY doesn't Malware stop them? Should I try a system restore to weeks ago? I am on here Every day.so I'm pretty cognizant of changes! ADVICE PLEASE!! Bruce Pierce

which are blocked.

dom.push.connection.enabled = false dom.push.enabled = false

Seems a tad deceptive. UI settings for notifications has none allowed and new requests blocked.

On a related note I would like instructions to have the browser cease attempted conversations with these resources

firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com shavar.services.mozilla.com content-signature-2.cdn.mozilla.net aus5.mozilla.org

All experiments disabled yet normandy.cdn.mozilla.net

If mozilla respects privacy why are not experiments opt-IN?

Thanks in advance for any insight or suggestions. My preferred browser is Firefox. In Chrome, I can easily use a voice search from www.google.com. In Firefox, the permissions show my preferred mic as enabled and selected for that webpage -- but no sound is detected. (Using Firefox. mic works fine at https://www.onlinemictest.com.)

(BTW, speaker output is Realtek motherboard audio and mic input is a Shure X2U USB interface. This mic works just fine in zoom, whereby, audition, etc. as well as working google.com using chrome)

Have worked through various settings in the SOUND panel and SITE PERMISSIONS with no luck.

Any ideas about this problem -- or what other settings to trouble shoot?

On the 23. of Mai I first noticed that I am unable to download any files whatsoever. I tried downloading .exe files and also a .csv file. When I try to download one of these files it appears in the downloads window but immediately goes to the status "Failed". Any retry fails as well.

The same thing goes for extensions. I cannot download any extensions or plugins using my Firefox browser. Since I reinstalled Firefox I can now also not use Plex because Firefox can't install the required plugins.

I will attach screenshots of all the errors I get.

All of the above worked when I tried it on the Edge browser.

Firefox version: 126.0 Windows 11

Things I have tried to fix the issue:

• Use the network connection from my phone instead of my home network
• Disable firewall and windows defender
• Reinstall Firefox
• Refresh Firefox
• Downgrade to version 125.0.1 and 122.0
• Reset router to factory settings
• Flush dns
• Restart PC
• Manually delete profile folder
• Delete temp files
• Change download destination
• Disable "Block dangerous and deceptive content"
• Troubleshoot Mode

Is Firefox using some other temporary folder for downloads?

Any ideas on how to fix this issue would be appreciated.

After SUSE-15.6 updated FIREFOX to 115.11.0esr, all sites show choppy videos. I have no idea why or what I can do to resolve the issue. If someone has an idea, it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks guys for screwing up my day with your latest update. I used to be able to download a .pdf and opening it in my ,pdf reader. I NEED to do this for tax reconciliation purposes. Now your crappy program has decided to open .pdfs in itself and I cant get a downloaded copy any more. What the hell was the programmer thinking? Yes I have gone to Applications and checked that it is set to my .pdf reader. Please fix this before I get fined by the tax office.

Please approve the update to Twitter X Ad Blocker. I've chatted with AldAstra Labs the creator and they have an update but are waiting on Firefox to approve it.

If you experience horizontal lines appearing when scrolling after installing firefox possible fix is finding layers.acceleration.force-enabled and set to true after going to about:config in your address bar search for this and set it to true. My real question I ask myself is, why isn't this enabled by default when installing firefox? I swear I remember doing this last Win 11 install as well. My third time installing windows unfortunately, just had a nvme ssd drive fail on me. 😭😢 Ofc, it had to be my Gen 4, C: drive with my old User account on there as well. :// Lesson learned, always backup important data frequently as desired. :( Oh well, just lost all my saved games and few songs, no big deal I guess.
