The message filter has been turning off on its own and randomly only at certain email addresses for some time now.

The email address is on our own domain, but other email addresses on the same domain are not experiencing this phenomenon.

Also, if I delete the address and recreate it, or re-set up my email in a completely new environment, the phenomenon recurs.

Any advice on email filters would be greatly appreciated.

The TB 102 update has broken my message filters (says destination folders don't exist and throws everything to my inbox). Also, TB 102 keeps downloading old messages from my pop account that is has already downloaded creating multiple instances of the same email. I am unable to revert to the last release because TB 102 has modified my profile and I would lose all email and settings.

PLEASE fix this version ASAP!

Hi,

After downloading and installing the latest version. 102.3.1 (32bit), yesterday.

Today when running after the update yesterday, the automatic filters function no longer works. it states that the appropriate directory does not exist and as consequence I have a large number (> 50) of new messages in my INBOX, instead of being sorted into Customers sub directories, Suppliers sub directories, etc,.

I noted that in the download page, it mentioned addressbook changes, & filter changes. These errors may be be related to these comments but unfortunately I did not printout that page.

I have additional add-ons installed including quick-filters.

Help, I have gone from a working TBird to what is described as a non-working one. Since I use "filters" to prioritise emails and therefore my response time.

While sending this another 20 emails have arrived.

This is almost the upgrade/ changes many versions back.!!

"The message could not be filtered to folder" with Thunderbird 102.0

I started having problems immediately after upgrading to Thunderbird 102.0 (32-bit) on Windows 7. I suspect some of the settings from the previous installation were not … (மேலும் படிக்க)

I started having problems immediately after upgrading to Thunderbird 102.0 (32-bit) on Windows 7. I suspect some of the settings from the previous installation were not transferred correctly to the new version.

First, I couldn't even get into my email server, getting the error "Server does not support the selected authentication method." After changing some of the server settings, I was able to get into my email.

Then, a couple of my message filters started throwing an error "The message could not be filtered to folder ... because adding a message to it failed. Verify that the folder is displaying properly or try to repair it from the folder properties." I repaired the folder, and then the filter seemed to work.

Now, every message going through any filter appears to be failing with this message. Literally hundreds of messages are not getting filtered and are throwing this message (I get 200 to 400 messages daily).

Is there any way to back out of Thunderbird 102.0 and repair my entire saved messages file? HELP!!!

Upgraded to TB102.2.2 Filters work sporadically

Is there a known fix to get the filters working normally. I use about 114 filter. Look forward to a response.

Hi there I create message filters to sort out incoming messages and move them to specific folders. I have now 15 well functioning filters, but filter #16 keep getting deleted from the list. I have crested it in the same fashion as the other 15, but every day when i open Thunderbird, the mails from the sender this filter was supposed to move to another folder remain in the inbox. When opening Message filters the filter created to perform this task has disappeared from the list. Hope someone have an idea to why this happens? It's getting pretty annoying. :-)
