How can I change the defalt filename of inserted image from clipboard? I use firefox with local interface language but I don't want it to influence on filename of inserted images. I don't wanna give any clues in work chats, forums etc. which language I use in my browser.

Hi, I am thinking about buying a new phone and wanted to know if i get a new phone and download firefox/mozilla and sign in with my id and pw will all the collections that i currently have in firefox at this time going to be a available to me on the new phone after downloading the current version of firefox? I have used Firefox to access my Zoom accoutnfor several years. Today, the screen goes blank when I click on sign-in. This does not happen with other browsers on my PC. Help....

at the top of the page, i get a window that says "This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page. Then it has a box with the word STOP in it.

   what the heck is this and how do i make it go away?  I push the button that says stop, but it starts right up again

Recently, I cleared the cookies and site data from my browser as I'd noticed they were taking quite of lot of space on my harddrive. I thought clearing them would just reset them, but it looks like they were completely wiped instead.

Now, the browser never remembers any login information, so I have to connect to every site I use everytime I open my computer. It's troublesome when some of them have double verification and I have to go through the trouble of checking my email and entering a code everytime. The websites don't ask me to enable cookies again, so I don't know how to make them remember my informations again.

Is there a way to re-enable cookies, or have the websites ask me to enable cookies again?

After Firefox updated to v127 YouTube videos stopped working for me. They work fine on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Considering this only started happening with the latest update and the fact that YouTube videos work fine on other browsers the problem I feel has to be somewhere in Firefox. When I try to play a video I get the white circle going around in the center of the screen and the video does not play.

Need to know why this problem of Firefox (on Linux) suddenly arose. When attempting to make audio or video calls it responds with, Does not work on Firefox browser. Yet it continues to work with about half my contacts.

I have had some issues using Firefox and I was told that the website works better with Google Chrome by a support person. For the last recent issue, I was told a website doesn't work correctly basically with Firefox and that I needed to use Google Chrome or Edge. I recently received an email from Mozilla which had a link to an article titled, "Here’s what we’re working on in Firefox" at: link text and in the article in large print it says, "Bringing you the features you’ve been asking for." I didn't see any mention about increasing Firefox's compatibility with websites.

Hopefully, somehow comparability with websites will be made better.

Is it possible to install Firefox (or at least the profiles) onto an external SSD (i.e., not the C: drive)? If so, how?

Note: this is not about migration/backup/recovery of profiles. Nor is it about where files are downloaded by default.

Windows 11 is consuming nearly all of the C: drive. I badly need to get Firefox (and later Thunderbird) onto my E: drive. I further note that the installer gives no options whatsoever as to the destination drive.

Most of the help I've found on the web is clearly outdated.

When using Firefox to access Hulu Hulu does not accept my password though it does let me reset my password. I CAN access Hulu using DuckDuckGo and IE. Have not been able to get through to Hulu.

I updated the iOS app today and it closed all my tabs in private browsing mode and will not keep any open. It also will not default to private browsing anymore even if I open a link from a private window. The help pages list settings that do not exist. Please advise

Your new update has possibly screwed my private tavs opening data because private tabs no longer open when I use the firefox IOS website for my Iphone and it is quite annoying since I had a lot of private tabs open before this incident occurred Can I please get a response on how to fix this annoying problem by the firefox team and when an update will occur to fix it this from this 127.0 New Update of yours please fix the private tabs from closing on my IOS Iphone device it is quite annoying when I fully exit the app or give me an idea how to fix it.

Why would your team release a version that closes all tabs in private browser mode? Why would you not list this in your release notes? I only browse in Private mode and prefer to leave tabs open there. Please return the feature or give the user the option to close all tabs on exit

I usuallg keep a few tabs open in private browsing but now it seems they’re closing automatically when I come back from regular browsing. The settings/privacy/close private tabs doesn’t seem to exist in the setttings any longer. Did it move? Am I missing something? Reopening private tabs again and again sort of may push me out of Firefox on iOS altogether.
