How to update Google maps on MacOS -NOT iphone

I am using the new MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.1. (This should not have anything to do with my question however as my husband is using an identical computer and doesn't have the problem.) I am also using the latest Firefox version. Problem: When we do identical searches for an address in Google maps, he gets a much newer satellite view than I do for the property. He, for instance, gets a house where I get bulldozed land for the same address. This occurs for me on both Firefox and Safari so I have decided it's not the browser's problem so much as the cache that is stored for Google. Nowhere can I find how to update Google Maps on a browser in a mac operating system. I am signed into my acct. both for browsers and Google. I don't have the problem on my iPhone.

Any help would be appreciated. It's hard to look at a house, when Google says it isn't there yet.
