Camera permission Firefox 29.0 Daylight on iPad

I can’t give Firefox permission to acces the camera and mic on my iPad Air. None of the features described in support articles resemble the version I just installed. When I click on the lock in the address bar, no page information is displayed - it behaves like I am just highlighting the URL. The settings menu is very limited and doesn’t include privacy/camera/microphone settings. The website I’m trying to use (doxy.me) simply gives me a pop-up that says the camera is blocked and doesn’t prompt to allow. Neither can I change the permission in system preferences because Firefox isn’t requesting system permission to access the camera and mic, and there’s no option to manually add apps to list of “allowed” apps. Any other suggestions? Very frustrating.
