I am on the latest version, and it will periodically keep telling me to "download a fresh copy of firefox." Am I doing something wrong? I have downloaded manually a few times but gave up on it. Maybe a bug?

The current Firefox release is 69.0.3, but Firefox 70.0 is about to be released this week.

What Firefox version do you see in "Help -> About Firefox" and on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page ?
