How can I enable HTTP geolocation for debug purposes

I'm currently building a website, and I very much want to debug the websites geolocation functions. Currently, I'm receiving the exception "A Geolocation request can only be fulfilled in a secure context." and I cannot find any debug/config option anywhere to enable testing outside of a secure context (HTTP). Is there an option somewhere that I'm missing to solve this issue?
