Print window doesn't show what it is printing

i prefer to use Firefox as my browser. I have an iMac and am running OS El Capitan 10.11.2. When I print from Firefox the printer window does not show what it is going to print as it does in other browsers, so I always have to view it as a PDF. Is there any fix for that?
