I don't want to use passkeys, and it seems that every site is checking browser support and wasting my time with passkey prompts before allowing me to log in with a password. How do I disable passkey support in Firefox?

Hi, the site "https://pixabay.com/" is suddently extremely slow with mozilla. The pictures don't showup or take many minutes before you can see them. Normally only white boxes show. The same site (pixabay) with the browser "Opera" works perfectly. I always use mozilla and since a short while it just doesn't work with pixabay (a site for royalty-free images). hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Please tell me how to fix this once and for all. if not I have to leave using firefox this is driving me crazy. terrible. Latest thing I tried was about:config - sandbox changed 2 items, 1 from true to false other from 6 to 0. as listed in this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SIGynLjrjk

I've recently uploaded a custom-made extension to the Chrome Web Store for my personal use and for a few specific users. It's currently awaiting review.

However, I'm encountering an issue where I cannot download and use the extension myself. When attempting to download, I receive the message "Download failed. Please check your connection."

Although I can see the extension listed on the store (since it's mine), I'm unable to use it personally.

Could you please assist me with resolving this issue?

Hi, I‘m not sure if I selected the right topic for my question but I can‘t find an answer to my query anywhere, so here goes:

When I opened Firefox on my Mac today (all up-to-date), a pop-up request by Firefox (cf. attached picture) showed up: "Firefox needs to download the font "Weibei SC". "Weibei SC" is 17,4 MB." with the options "Skip" and "Download".

Puzzled by this odd request, I wanted to skip it, but anytime I clicked skip the window would pop up again. I never clicked on download and I actually closed and reopened the browser, without having it show up again. I even restarted my device and reopened Firefox but it didn‘t show up again.

Now, I want ro believe that there is nothing to worry about, that it was a software blunder of some sort and that maybe normally it just installs fonts in the background without me knowing. But for the sake of my own peace of mind, I‘d feel more comfortable if someone who knows the software better than I do, explain to me what this was or might have been, and hopefully that it was nothing harmful.

Has there been an influx of blue as the preferred icon color the latest years?

With somewhat degraded eyes, this has started to become a problem for me.

I want to have Firefox Developer edition installed, but I have to settle for the standard edition. Why ? Because the standard edition has a distinct orange icon. I am not able to quick glance at the task bar and see the difference between what window is Firefox Dev (blue icon), Outlook (blue icon), VSCode (blue icon), Azure Data Studio (blue icon), WebStorm (blue icon), 1Password (blue icon) or MS Edge (blue icon).

My problem is that my web browser (in this case Firefox) is the application I most often switch back and forth between and the struggle is real... I have to spend a lot of time looking at the task bar to acuatlly be able to see what icon is Firefox Developer Edition.

I don't need this as a feature in Firefox, necessarily, just some tips or tricks if there is any icons in the program folder e.g. I can swap out.

I have looked into settings but found no solution to this issue. Web search results are completely irrelevant to this issue as well. Haven't been able to find a fix for this.

Firefox 115.12esr slow to startup takes up to 10 second to load the first time now Firefox was fine in version 112.esr. to bad Firefox forces updates, even when the update make Firefox worse. https://snipboard.io/QF0ERT.jpg of course it works faster without extensions, that does not mean anything. I would reinstall the older version but Mozilla fixed so we cannot. I do not have time to reinstall all the extension so I am left with a useless Firefox. To bad Firefox does not allow reinstall of extension automatically, a reset of Firefox would also make Firefox useless; I am at a loss to how to continue to support Mozilla and not switch to another browser?

Hi there! I've been having problems with youtube not working in firefox lately. It's ONLY in firefox that it does this issue in, I've tried it in other browsers. Youtube tends to just....stop buffering in firefox for some reason? My internet connection is not the issue so I'm not sure what I could do to mess with it, I've done a fresh install of firefox, I've cleared cache and cookies. I'm genuinely at a loss.

It takes FOREVER for it to actually s tart up in the video too. The video plays fine until it just...stops buffering and takes 5-10 minutes to load. As mentioned before this is only an issue in firefox.

Let's say I've bookmarked a job posting from Company Z, the job is zookeeper. Then later there is a job for a lion trainer that I want to bookmark from the same company, same website -- but it overwrites the zookeeper job and replaces it with the lion trainer job.

1) Why is it doing this? 2) How can I save BOTH bookmarks (and more) from the same website?

I just asked a question about email not downloading to thunderbird and got an answer which I think meant that this was not the place to ask. I cannot find an open question place in Thunderbird. Where can I get support?

I went to the trouble shooting site after asking my question about Thunderbird. It was suggested that running two firefox clean ups was a good idea. Now my ribbon thread is not present. I have to jump through hoops to find bookmarks, etc. This makes all navigation difficult. Is there a way to get the old data on the page in the old form? The data folder is on my desk top. I feel stupid because the trouble shooting site said all would be saved. How and where?

Hi, I have applied the latest updates on my Zimbra server (Ubuntu 20.04) last week and since then the emails contents are not displayed anymore in the classic web client, they are displayed only in the modern web client, I will attach same email in both clients to compare. Would this extension be installed in the computer, kind of like the extensions that are loaded from Chrome (i.e., C:\Users\myUser\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\extensions_crx_cache)?
