fire fox says my printer is not on when it is

I can not print from a fire fox web site because it says my printer is not connected. When I get on the same webb site in internet explorer I have no problem with printing the information. My printer is connected by wifii. it is s Canon MX870

Hi,

Please also check if Canon MX870 is the currently selected printer in File (Alt + F) > Print > Name. If the problem persists, please also see this.

I deleted fire fox and opened a new version and that solved the problem.
