At work, administration disallows .exe, so cannot install Firefox. If Google Chrome figured out how to install itself, then so should you!
I am at work, and policy disallows .exe installations without an administrative password But Google Chrome has figured out a way to install itself, anyway. So, I would think that you guys should be able to figure it out as well, so I can have Firefox at work. I am using Windows 7 32bit.

If you can install an msi file, you might consider downloading firefox from http://www.frontmotion.com/Firefox
Please note that the current version offered at http://www.frontmotion.com/Firefox is 6.0.2, but the current official firefox version, released earlier this week, is 7.0.1
Nope. I tried, but .msi is banned as well. Thank you though.
I don't know how Google pulls that off, but I doubt if Mozilla would even think about creating an installer that would bypass precautions that SysAdmins put in place to prevent the installation of un-approved applications.
Besides, I would worry about being "canned" over installing un-approved software on a company PC without permission. With the job market the way it is now, they could probably find 100 people willing to fill your job for at lot less than you are getting paid.
Ya Edmeister, I was waiting for the anal answer. Thanks for pulling through! The Führer would be proud!
