What can I do to have Firefox recognize access password to yahoo mail. The password works on IE and Blackberry.

Since August 3, I cannot access my yahoo mail account through Firefox. When I get to the sign in page for yahoo mail I enter my email address and then the password and click "Send" and nothing happens Both the user ID and password work on Internet Explorer and my Blackberry. What gives? Too many problems with Firefox 5.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
