Why are the preloaded bookmarks in french & how do I change that?

I downloaded Firefox recently & find that preloaded bookmarks are in French. The last two options on the bookmarks drop down menu are also in French. How do I change that to English? Why is there a mixed language version?

If the default items on the Bookmarks Toolbar or in the sidebar are in the wrong language then you can rename them to the English names (right-click: Properties). 

Bookmarks menu: Bookmarks Toolbar,Recently Bookmarked,Recent Tags,Get Bookmark Add-ons
Bookmarks Toolbar: "Most Visited", "Getting Started", "Latest Headlines"
Main folders: "All Bookmarks", "Bookmarks Toolbar", "Bookmarks Menu", "Unsorted Bookmarks"

You can rename it but it's still a French link.

Problem solved by uninstalling the Brothersoft download & installing fom the Mozilla site.
