I've created a number of (corporate) Address Books, each with detailed information (postal addresses, phone numbers, etc). Often, I get a bounce-back message along the lines of '...please contact John Doe at JohnDoe@mail.com or Jane Doe at JohnDoe@mail.com.' I want to be able to select the original Address Book entry, and copy it to a new entry within the same Address Book, where I can then edit the 2 or 3 differences, instead of having to 1.) create it from scratch, or 2.) export, import, edit... Is there a simple way to just copy an entry to a new entry and let me edit it?? (ideally before saving, but, hey, beggars can't be choosers)

The simplest way I know is to create a dummy addressbook for use as an edit board. Do this just once. Then,, when you need to create an additional address for someone, press cntl and drag address to the dummy addresbook Edit it and then drag it back with a new identifier
