Was the second device also an Android device?
If it is a Windows/Mac/Linux system, the Mobile Bookmarks are listed separately from the bookmarks in Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menu, and Other Bookmarks. You can use the Sidebar (Ctrl+B, on Mac, Command+B) or Library (Ctrl+Shift+O, on Mac, Command+Shift+O) to see Mobile Bookmarks.
