Cannot empty Junk folder

When I try to empty my Junk folder, TBird just hangs, and I get "Thunderbird is not responding". The only way to get out of this is to terminate TBird and restart it - the Junk folder is still not empty. I don't get this problem with emptying the Deleted folder, and this has only been a problem since I migrated to Windows 11. I am running 128.9.0esr (64-bit) on Windows 11 Pro 24H2.

Sorry, I just realised I had posted this before, but hadn't seen the reponses. Repairing the folder seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks!
