Hello, I just organized Thunderbird mobile on my Samsung tablet. On the desktop, Thunderbird shows a menu and a address book. When I get an Email I can save the mail address in my address book. But, Thunderbird mobile doesn't show a menu nor a address book and it does not use the contact saved at the tablet. Can anyone help me to solve this problem? Thanks a lot!! Regards, Monika

Hallo, kürzlich habe ich Thunderbird mobil auf meinem Samsung Tablet installiert. Leider zeigt die App keine Menüleiste und keine Option eines Adressbuches. Dazu greift Thunderbird auch nicht auf gespeicherte Kontakte zu. Bei der Desktopversion wird sowohl die Menüleiste als auch ein Adressbuch angezeigt. Könnte mir bitte jemand behilflich sein, dieses Problem zu lösen? Vielen Dank! Grüße, Monika

Wenn ich eine E-Mail bekomme, kann ich die Mailadresse des Absenders im Adressbuch (Kontakte) speichern. Aber Thunderbird mobile zeigt weder eine Menüzeile noch ein Adressbuch (Kontakte) an und verwendet auch keine Kontakte aus meinen Kontakten, die auf dem Tablet gespeichert sind. Hey Monika,

yeah the mobile version of Thunderbird is still pretty limited compared to the desktop one. It doesn't have a full address book feature yet, and it won’t sync with your tablet contacts either. Hopefully future updates will add more features. For now, you might need to manage contacts separately or stick to desktop for that part.

Thunderbird for Android does not have contacts of its own, but it can use the contacts of your Android tablet.
