Donation via paypal too complicated - asked for data
I wanted to donate for Thunderbird with Paypal. When all sorts of data were asked I did not want to give I cancelled the donation. Why do you want my address etc. when I donate? Regards, Manuela

I suggest you read the frequently asked questions in the donation page.
Where the specific question "Why do you need my address in order to process a gift?" is answered.
If you still have questions there is the last question. "Who can I email directly with questions about giving? " which will give you a web form to connect connect to someone that actually works with the donor care process, not some other Thunderbird user that can guess.
