Google search not displaying calculations on FF

more options

When I do a Google search on a calculation, such as "1+1" or even "sin(pi/3)/e^(-1.125)", Google returns a calculator with the answer. This is REALLY helpful. I've confirmed this behavior on Chrome and Edge on Windows 11.

However, Firefox does not seem to display the returned calculator.

I've attached 3 screenshots, each showing the calculator (Chrome and Edge) and the lack of a calculator (Firefox).

Why is Firefox not displaying the search's calculator and result?

Hi. In my environment, the calculator was displayed when I searched with Google with Firefox. The reason why the calculator does not appear may be due to extensions. Doesn't the calculator appear even if you try to search with all extensions disabled?

You were 100% right. Damn. I'm so sorry. It was uBlock Origin... I should've looked!

I only have 4 or 5 extensions loaded, and the calculator disappearing didn't SEEM like it would happen because of anything I had installed. I'm still pretty mystified that uBlock Origin would do that -- I need to figure out why, but for now, I can make an exception to get the calculator back.

You've made my calculator very unhappy. It was starting to feel useful after about 10 years of not being used much. But you've made *me* happy. Thank you so much!

Probably the calculator has class names or other selectors similar to the ads. You could try the following to report it or search for a tweak:
