HP scanner will still send a scan to my windows computer, but after scanning a doc & then clicking send - this error msg appears... "the HP scan application is unable to open your email application and/or cannot attach the scan to a new email. please check your email configuration and try again." After running a HP print scan doctor 5.1 a "driver check" is X'd. Instructions are to unplug and restart which I've completed. "the scan driver is unable to communicate with the product"...

I' am using version 60.8.0 And i also get the message that the software HPscan can't find an email program. Thunderbird 60.8.0 is installed and works great ! I called HP and they only support Outlook ? A neighbour of mine has the same printer and HP support changed something on his PC and he can scan to thunderbird mail. But he forgot what HP did on his PC. He thought he did something in the registry. Does anywhone nows how to get ik working
