My firefox developer edition has recently updated itself to version 57.0b3 (64bit). It now crashes every single time upon opening the browser or clicking new tab.

I have tried uninstalling the firefox developer and downloading it again, but the same continues. I have followed some of the trouble shooting steps concerning starting in safe mode. However, even in safe mode the browser and tabs still crash. I was able to access the settings page, but am not able to browse the internet.
