Hello: I am trying to print a copy of the email addresses listed in the group called "newsletter" so that I can easily verify them against a master list. Also I want to be able to easily "see" if there are any duplicates listed.

I think you may need to export the List. It works well here to export the list as a csv file which can then be viewed, sorted and printed in a spreadsheet program.
