Why do I not see pictures sent via e-mail? Isee them on my desktop, but not on my wireless laptop.

When pictures come via Thunderbird I can see them on my desktop, but when trying to see the same e-mail on my wireless laptop it only shows a blank box where the picture should be.

If you can, compare if there are different preferences for attachments as well in the account settings.
