hello, another affected user at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/980179#answer-511986 has reported that it is a sign of malware. you can try the manual steps he described, but you might also want to run a full scan of your system with the various security tools mentioned at How do I get rid of malware?

I get the answer but I don't really understand it? Can you elaborate?

Also I didn't have the dwm.exe *32, I have the regular old dwm.exe with a description of Copyright Microsoft.

Could you check your startup programs using the AutoRuns utility from Microsoft: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sy.../bb963902.aspx. At first glance, there is an overwhelming amount of data, but if you focus on the Startup tab and look at what is there in the registry section, hopefully you can spot the suspicious entry and discover its location on disk.

Edit: The name of the tab is Logon, not Startup, sorry.
