Are there any add-ons to add browser buttons to Firefox Mobile
I love Firefox for the desktop. Unfortunately, so far Firefox for the Android phone has turned out to be kinda crappy. One of my biggest complaints is the complete and utter lack of browser buttons. What sort of mental incompetent sticks the Back, Forward, Refresh and Bookmark buttons in a freaking dropdown menu? Even the default browser was smart enough to put the buttons at the top of the browser window where they were actually convenient to use. Does anyone know if there is some sort of Add-On that I could install in order to correct this massive oversight? Or perhaps a "web app", whatever those are?
Additionally, if there's an Add-On to get rid of that horrible, ugly, cluttered, inconvenient, slightly intrusive quote-unquote "Awesome" Page, that would also be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe there are any extensions. One would have to fork Firefox, make the changes you desire and roll with your own build.
There is no way to remove the Firefox Start page. It is integral to product.
Integral how? Seems completely unintegral to me.

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers. Users with heightened privileges have a Moderator label (such as myself) under their name and Mozilla employees have an Administrator label. Right now, there are not that many contributors out and about answering questions since we are all in different time zones all around the world.
AaronMT is a Senior Test Developer in the Quality Assurance team at Mozilla, so I'm pretty sure he's spot on with his answer.
One thing I can suggest is if you take a look at the Quick Gesture addon for Android.

Good news, everyone! I found a way to replace that horrible un-Awesome Page with a normal, useful home screen. Its called Home Changer, and so far its wonderful.
I'm still looking for a way to add normal browser buttons, though.
