Please check for updates by following these instructions:

Note:Updates will only download over Wi-fi to prevent data usage charges.

1. Open the Settings application by tapping the Settings App (small) icon.
2. Tap the Device Information button.
3. Tap the Check now button.
4. A notification will appear in the notication bar if an update is available.
5. Swipe down the notification bar to get the utility tray and install the updates.

There is no update for Firefox 1.1.0 for ZTE Open it seems. When was 1.1.0 released?

It looks like Firefox OS 1.1 was released on the 9th of October. It is currently available for the ZTE Open, but I have heard that this is only true for handsets not bought on Ebay.

It is possible to update the device manually (see https://developer.mozilla.org/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/ZTE_OPEN#Upgrading_Firefox_OS), but that is beyond the scope of this forum.

1.1 is currently the latest version released over the air. 1.2 will released in the upcoming months. If you are running 1.1, you are running the latest version we have.

thanks, your link did the trick, I now have 1.1 installed and working.

Sorry to all, I still have learning to do with Mozilla Support (including this off topic message).

I am having ZTE firefox device and trying to upgrade it through sdcard .But issue is it is showing "singnature verification failed " and installation get aborted. And device is not responding. Is there any solution to upgarde
