I can't clear my history anymore. Just started doing this two days ago. Even setting auto history clearing didn't help. Will I have to remove/reinstall?

I can no longer clear my history. I have done this every day for years, and since two days ago The clear history box wont open when I try to clear my history. I tried setting the auto clear option, but that also did not work.

Is there anything else I can try within firefox or my computer, or will I need to remove firefox and then reinstall it?
