I have been a faithful user of Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird since it first came out. I despise IE and only use it at work because I'm forced too. I also don't like Outlook. Now it looks like everyone is getting into the spy business and I would like to see Mozilla/Thunderbird create it's own email server. Any chance on that happening anytime soon? Thank!

Sorry I know this isnot the answer you would have hoped for!

Active development of Thunderbird has ceased. This question is not within the scope of this forum. Hazarding a guess I would say it is most unlikely that an email server is to be created.

I am not sure where you could discuss this but have a look through the fora listing
