I recently updated from version 6 to version 8 on my desktop and laptop, which are sync'd. Sync does not work properly. It does not place the bookmark toolbar in the same location on both computers... instead it places it at the beginning of the toolbar on the second computer. It also does not bring the icon with it, but I have to click on the icon link to get the icon. I was not having these issues on previous versions of FF. I also get the "Sync has encountered and error" warning quite frequently. Are these known bugs/issues... or is there a solution? Thanks!

Hi!

Some of the information that you are giving us is normal: For instance, you will not get the "icon" (it's name is Favicon) until you visit the site in the new device (favicons are not synced yet, it's ready and it will come early next year).

But the errors that you are mentioning are not normal so I will ask you to open a bug. Check this blogpost from one of the developers https://philikon.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/how-to-file-a-good-sync-bug/
