Can't log onto Sync on new Firefox 5 install

Mac OS X 10.7. I was having some problems with Firefox 5 slowing down my machine, so I de-install Firefox 5 completely and re-installed with a clean download. Now I can't log onto the sync under Forefox/preferences/sync , it asks me to create a new account, which I don't want to since I already have one with all of my bookmarks.

Hi!

You should select the option "Connect" and then at the bottom of the three rows of numbers select "I don't have the device with me". Follow the instructions after that.
