What you would have done is Cleared the Downloads List. The files you downloaded would still be saved in your computer, you just need to find the location where they were downloaded.

-> Tap ALT key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar

-> go to Tools Menu -> Options -> General -> place Checkmark on "Show the Downloads window when downloading a file" -> select Radio Button option2 "Always ask me where to save files" -> click OK

click a Download link to save a file -> it will ask the location to Save the file -> the location which has just opened will contain your previously downloaded file

Check and tell if its working.
