can't see images in mail or save jpeg images to my computer

Cannot see images in my yahoo mail. Cannot save jpeg or other image files to computer; i get mozilla icon where the image file is but am unable to open it. I cannot send certain emails, the recipients cannot view the emails using IE? I'm guessing.

If you have saved images then make sure that they have a valid file extension for an image like .jpg and not the .html file extension.
You can check that in the Properties of an image via the right-click context menu.
If Windows hides the file extension then you need to add quotes around the name ("image.jpg") to force the .jpg file extension.

did not help. I cannot see images at all in my yahoo mail they just show a file ext and no image. my email works fine with ie.
