Why are my facebook games so slow on Firefox 4.0?

I upgraded to Firefox 4.0 this morning and my facebook games are so slow. So far, this is the only problem I've had since upgrading, but it's enough to make me want to use Safari again...and I hate Safari.

All of my plugins are up to date and I clear my history every time I close my browser, so I don't know what the hell is going on. I do know that I'm frustrated and I hate Firefox 4.0. I hope someone can help...

I should also add that, in addition to everything being slow, certain features within the games aren't working either. For example, in Island Paradise, when you hit shift+d, it hides all the decorations on your island. This shortcut no longer works for me in FF 4.0. Same with all the other shortcuts. I've had to switch to another browser because of all the ridiculous glitches I'm experiencing, which seem to be increasing. I've even had FF crash on me. I've been using FF for seven years now and I'm sad that the new version is so crappy (at least on my computer).

Edit: For anyone else having this problem, just downgrade to the previous version of Firefox. I did this and now everything works fine. There are plenty of threads on this forum with instructions on how to get the older version of FF. I'll upgrade to 4.0 only when I'm forced to do so.
