I have xp pro SP2 I downloaded firefox to open smartswipe it tells me I need sp3

I have smartswipe I also have IE6 but could not use smartswipe with it unless I downloaded SP3. I can use it with firefox 3.6 or higher (which I have downloaded), but when I download smartswipe in firefox and it saves in a document folder but when I try to open it, I get a popup saying I can not open smartswipe I need to load SP3.

That sounds like a system requirement from Smatswipe, you will need to install SP3 if you want to use Smartswipe.

No mention of needing SP3 here,

Says you need IE7 or higher, not IE6. Or Firefox 3.6+.
