My History is not updating. "Show All History" shows the history of day before yesterday in the "Today" section.

I had not changed any settings or started any private browsing session.

The back and Forward buttons show the history, but it is not reflected in the History.

I assume that you checked this:

  • Private Browsing mode is entered if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
  • To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
  • Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
