hen i check email at the top it says view this email on web browser but it wont let me click on this option.. how can i change this

when i get an email from a business say old navy, at the top it says to view this email on web browser or mobile. I put the cursor over the link to view on web browser but when i click on it, it does nothing and doesnt allow me to view any links on this email. how can i enable this?? thanks in advance
