While surfing a site called " Free Porn " pops up. It is asking to confirm if I want to leave the page and after confirming to exit it goes back t9 original question, which is : confirm if you want to exit this page. One can get out through task manager but on starting a new browsing session it reappears. I uninstalled Firefox and then reinstalled and the pop up is still there.

Try temporarily disabling JavaScript. In the Tools menu select Option, then go to the Content panel in the Options window and de-select the setting "Enable JavaScript". Close the Options window and then try to close the tab. You can then re-enable JavaScript.

Set the pref browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to 0 on the about:config page to get the about:sessionrestore page immediately with the first restart after a crash has occurred or the Task Manager was used to close Firefox.

That will allow you to deselect the tab(s) that you do not want to reopen, but will allow to reopen the other tabs. See:

You can also delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder to prevent the previous session from opening.
