Closing FF closing ff causes windows to shut down with error code 0x00000024. another attempt at closing produces the blue screen with code 0x00000050. researching on microsoft reveals this may be a .netframe corruption problem. I redownloaded and replaced the latest .net process, version 4. The program says installation is successful.

Attempting uninstalling ff Again get the bluescreen error code ending in 50 or 05,after several attempts. Using control panel unistallation brings up ff uninstaller. immediately upon beginning sequence computer goes to blue screen. Using revo uninstaller will result in same occurrence. After several restarts and using revo it appears to uninstall ff. downloading new version of ff goes smoothly. upon starting after download the message ff is already running pops up. task manager shows no ff in properties or applications.

IE and Chrome appear to function smoothly.

I have repeated this process over a course of a week with the same result each time.

What steps can I now take? Thanks in advance, Michael
