The Downloads Box freeze whenever it shows up and I can't close it

I was trying to download daemon tool when this happen. As soon as I click the link for download, the Download box popped up and freeze. I can't close it normally, even when firefox itself is already close this thing is still there. As a side note, the box didn't interact with me at all, and there appears to be two small semi-clickable button right underneath the download box. They don't respond, however.

Open the Windows Task Manager > Processes Tab and kill the firefox.exe process.
