Google maps open very small via www.google.de, via www.google.com they open normal

I am using Firefox 3.6.8. When I open www.google.de and choose maps in the menu, the Google map appears very small and all the upcomming text and menus are not readable because erverything is to small. When I use the zoom, the map text just enlarges for a second and then it goes back to small. Do I the same via http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=de the Google maps are working normal. Via IExplorer they are also normal.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
