firefox do not open new window

firefox makes many time to open a new window. everytime I want open a new window by cmd+n or file>new window firefox wait about two minutes before opening... i'm running firefox 3.6.3 on a mac book pro+leopard up-to-date. but when I try to open a new tab in a existing window, it work well. the problem appears since I've updated the last firefox version. thanks for your support

I had the same problem, I solved it be deactivating an Addon, Fast Video Download. Now Firefox works as it should again.
