I closed several windows with multiple tabs and Firefox is working again.

During this process I was forced to try and replace Firefox with Duckduckgo's browser or Edge and learned some things that might be helpful for uthers evaluating these browsers.

Duckduckgo's browser only provides the most basic functionality provided by Firefox. For example, it does not provide granular control over cookies and cache, it does not have noscript for grabular control of scripts, and it does not have 1Passowrd integration. I don't think it has addons or extensions.

I also tried using Edge but found it lacking. For example, I depend on reader view. Also, the ability to create a new tab in any window and begin typing a website or web page title and Firefox lists the open tabs with those websites or information. That is critical since I have hundreds of tabs open for my research. Firefox also makes it much easier to manage cookies and cache.

Upon further investigation, Norton 360 support says this is a known problem but their support sucks so I have to figure it out.
