how to disable swiping to close tabs - android app
How do you disable the "feature" that closes tabs when you swipe over them by accident? It's way to sensitive and ends up closing tabs that I want to be left open all of the time.

Hi! Most Android apps don’t have a built-in option to disable swipe-to-close tabs, but you can try these workarounds:
Check the app’s settings for any tab or gesture options and see if swipe-to-close can be turned off.
Use the app in desktop mode if available, where swipe gestures might be disabled.
If the app doesn’t support disabling it, you might consider using a different browser or app with more customizable tab controls.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you need suggestions for alternative apps.

Hi palsa
If you open the Firefox for Android menu and select Settings, scroll down to and select Customise, you should see the option to turn off the swipe to switch tabs option.
Does this help?

I don't see that option when I click "customize"
It is the last item on that screen.
It is most certainly not.
As I said in the original post, I am trying to find a way to disable closing tabs when you swipe on them from the tab viewer. The last setting is for switching tabs...
Hello, Does your phone have an option that talks about touch sensitivity? If it does, you can turn it on to reduce these accidentals because from what I know I don't think there's an setting to disable what your talking about..
