sfhowes sent me a reply last night for how to get my email to download. Thank you! I was able to delete the yahoo passwords that were listed in saved passwords. I could not figure out how to change the authentication method from normal to OAuth2. Now there is a saved password for oauth but not oauth2. I can copy that password and close Thunderbird but when I restart it I don't know where to paste the oauth password.

The authentication for the incoming server is set in Account Settings, Server Settings, and at the bottom of the left pane of Account Settings in Outgoing Server (SMTP). If you have completed the OAuth2 process, an oauth:// token is automatically stored in Saved Passwords. That token should be automatically read whenever TB starts, for both receiving and sending.
