How to totally remove Thunderbird from Windows 11 in order to get a clean install
I am having trouble with trying to completely uninstall Thunderbird. I need to get back to a clean install because every time I just uninstall all the email accounts come back into the new installation, and I must have a clean install to get one of my emails to work sending emails. I have tried just to use the Windows Add or Remove programs but that does not get rid of all the files. Any help? Thanks

You could delete the user data by deleting the Thunderbird folder in .../AppData/Roaming, as this is unaffected by program uninstall/reinstall. A better method is to create a new profile, from Help/Troubleshooting Info, about:profiles, which leaves the previous profile untouched in case it has data you wish to retain.
Just to make sure that I understand … You cannot send a message from one account and you believe that deleting and re-installing everything will help?
Let’s focus on the problem. What happens when you try to send from that account?
The most common cause is simply that some settings are wrong, which is easy to fix.
