I am using Thunderbird version 128.7.Oesr on an iMac running Sequoia 15.3. When trying to update a contact's information I'm finding some contacts allow for Edit Mode and other contacts do not even display the Edit button as an option. I've tried Troubleshooting mode, but have the same issue. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ron

If you try to update contact information in "All Address Books", in which individual address book are those contacts stored? Personal Address Book? Mac OS-X Address Book?

It appears to be in the Mac OS X Address Book.

And there you answer your own question. Apple only allows read only access to the osx address book.
