Not being shown stories recommended by Pocket
On my work laptop, I disabled "Recommended by Pocket" to avoid distractions.
On my personal laptop, that setting is already enabled. But I never see any stories recommended by pocket when I open a new tab. What can I do about this?

Thanks, Terry. I was wondering whether you can help clear something up. I've never heard of a Pocket account before. Why would I need to sort a non-existent Pocket account on one laptop but not another? On neither laptop do I log into FireFox/Mozilla, either.
"Recommended by Pocket" is limited to certain regions. Go to about:config in the address bar and change browser.search.region to US then restart the browser.
Thanks for the suggestion, zeroknight, but it doesn't look like browser.search.region is the problem. It is set to CA on both the laptop that works and the one that doesn't.
Try searching about:config for pocket and make sure all values are default.
Make sure browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.section.topstories is set to true.
If you are signed into your account on both computers, you can stop this setting from syncing by changing services.sync.prefs.sync.browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.section.topstories to false.
