I have a Thunderbird (TB) email account on a computer that has has the Delete function on the menu bar. See image Screenshot1. I installed TB on a second computer and the menu bar does not have the Delete function. I chose customize and the Delete task was not shown to add. How do get the Delete function on the second computer?

Try this: start in safe mode (hold Shift when launching TB), check 'Reset toolbars & controls', 'Make changes & restart'. Does the Delete button now appear in the Customize window?
