How to delete multiple saved searches in one go?

I have one folder in Thunderbird 78.5.1 (64-bit) where I have collected more than 100 different saved searches. Now I want to delete most of them, as it is too difficult to update them when a new folder is made in my Mail system. If I delete them one by one it will take me several days to finish. Can anyone help me with a solution where I can delete multiple saved searches in one go?

what happens if you hold the CTRL key while to click on more than one to select it then press the delete key (I have no saved searches I want to sacrifice.)

@Matt, I have tried usinf the CTRL key as well as I have tried all other combination and none works. i appears the the most left folder menu only respond to one folder at the time Regards, Arne
